I would like to introduce you to a friend of mine. His name is John, but he writes under the pen name J. C. Fields. And he writes well.
I just finished his first novel, The Fugitive’s Trail, and it’s a good one.
You’ll be introduced to Special Agent Sean Kruger of the FBI and the chase you’ll join him on runs from Springfield, Missouri to Kansas City and on to New York. You’ll also spend a little time in Boulder Colorado.
John’s characters are full of personality and maintain a mindset familiar to police detectives. It’s a great story and the best part is it’s the first book in a trilogy. His second book, The Assassin’s Trail is also available, but I haven’t read it yet. It’s on my list.
Like me, John is one of the new breed of writers. He publishes independently and trusts the readers to tell him if his books are good or not. As one of his readers and fans, I can tell you The Fugitive’s Trail is a good one.
You’ll find it on Amazon.com as an eBook or paperback and it is also available at Audible.com as an audio book. Paul J. McSorley does a great job with the narration. Check it out.
